SITE SPECIFIC INSTALLATION PROJECT [THE LINE PROJECT]

let’s break out of the container boxes.
an installation project which crosses horizontally across the PLATOON space.
collaboration project intersecting the use of mundane exterior elements of clouds and street lights in unconventional ways.

WORK #1:

THE LINE [CLOUD] BY JUNGHWA LEE  (FLOATING SPACE)

line is both connection and border. it becomes a potential moment and an intersection of sets of contradictions.

in between 28 containers at PLATOON, THE CLOUD LINE, installed in parallel to the container structure, links people to unexpected moments. THE CLOUD LINE also shows of natural phenomena lighting effects and by having this inside the builidng, the spaceis turned into a distorted intersection of contradictions, thus altering our perception.

THE CLOUD LINE and THE STREET LIGHT (on exhibit at the four showcases) are connected by utilizing lighting effects based upon the natural & artificial time line.

WORK #2:

THE LINE [STREET LIGHT] BY KYUNGMIN LEE (SHOWCASE)

images are saved by parts of objects. they are then stored in within this generation, distinctively compiled on the internet archive map.
this installation work shows inter-vein (cross-linking) between virtual shared memory and reality (separable space).
it intimately presents a distinctive compilation to the audience of the past & now, and virtual space & real space via using tools of disconnection and distortation.
