KIM BEOMJUN is a conceptual artist whose works explore social issues. for his projects he often explores ideas in communication with everyday environments.

"the narration of his exhibition circles around the relation of one thing (A) to another (B). in order to form something, countless other things are necessary. originally, A always appears in the form of A, while B always appears as B.

one early morning, I briefly contemplated an artist's retirement. I wondered if the term artist is a profession or an appellation. or is it even fate? What is the definition of the notion of being an artist, and where in all this can we find retirement and resignation? What about severance pay for artists? I begin the day fantasizing about the day on which artists will be paid severance pay." (artist statement)
