monthly movie night
full metal village

every year wacken, a small village in the north of germany, is the stage for a proper culture clash. when the "wacken open air" festival opens its gates, ten thousands heavy metal maniacs and headbangers occupy the village. skulls, satan tatoos and black robes meet golden crucifixes, starched blouses and a true village mentality.  director sung-hyung cho managed to draw a sensitive picture of wacken's citizens in the face of the heavy metal invasion and how absurd the two worlds must appear to each other.
