not long ago, an eclipse captured the city of seoul like a hallucination. the sleepless city SEOUL in which i was born and in which i grew up is a living organism and an inspirational ground of my everyday life.
here machines produce sound and visual scenes communicating with each other. the nature of this communication is collaborative, like chemical processes. just like the collaboration of the sun and the moon, communicating through their movements... once again, images of the tactile sense of braille and dotted light pop up in my mind.
i imagine the delightful and restless experiences of the auditory sense through the beauty of visual information by touching them. i am now dreaming of an illusion of SEOUL with visible sounds and touchable letters." (artist's statement)
