chin chin

CHIN CHIN's works are inspired by figures and characters at the margins of imagination, myths about outsiders and freaks, and how they are depicted. her images are not in the spirit of horror though. spinning "a tiny string between sweet and scary moments", as she describes it, her images transmit a dense atmosphere, subtle and dark. for the residency period she will hunt for myths, fairy tales, urban legends, ghost stories and rites. as a street artist she will roam the streets, look for random objects that will be included in her works, and bomb the walls of the city and find ways to make use of urban space, spinning strings between imaginations, people, objects and the city.
